CNY -2010
I know CNY is over, but I need to record this for memory. *Whisper* I found a way to blog from “tempat kerja”
Our CNY this year was same as usual. Balik kampung, balik KL, loh sang but this year we managed to squeeze in 1 day holiday in PD. I managed to get a room at Avillion Admiral Cove last minute and the girls had a blast time swimming in the pool.
The girls love to watch lion dance especially Kyrie. Since young she was never afraid of the lion nor the noise. Hallie, on the other hand, was a scary cat, but in order to act macho in front of her sister, she kept mumbling, “I no scare, I no scare” but her body was shivering whenever there was lion dance in our vicinity.
2 weeks time….
Yeah….and we will be heading to :
Then to here:
Last but not least.
We are staying here in case you guys miss us : *WiNk*
Spore Zoo
Yes…we went to the zoo again over the weekend because every morning kyrie sings this, “I want to go Zoo….but not school” LOL
This round we spend more time on watching shows and less walking.

Kyrie is afraid of the snake. Mommy pretend like not afraid and touched the snake but deep inside….very scare. Hehehe
Hallie, on the other hand, slapped the “tribe man” who touched her face. Hahah…padan muka!!

Battery Out!!
Singapore Zoo (27th Dec 2008)
*Backdated post*
We went to the Zoo with Papa Wong’s corporate card which allow 4 adults admission. Both kids were below 3 years old; therefore, free entrance as well. I got Papa to charge the battery for the camera and make sure everything was ok. He claimed he has checked everything. Uopn reaching the zoo, I took out the camera to snap some photos and the lcd screen showing, “no memory card”.
Long story cut short, he managed to buy 1 2GB SD card from the gift shop that cost us a bomb!!

With all her "good friends"

Pretend to be biten by the hippo

Photo with the smelly pony
Where is Mei Mei all these while? Hehehe, in her dreamland!!
But the moment she woke up, she was so happy to see so many animal and keep screaming at those animal!! *LOL*

Hallie happily looking at those animal
A family portrait before the merry goes round.

Kidz World in Zoo
Mei Mei loves kiddy rides nowadays. She held on to the railing happily and kept smiling at us. The moment the ride stopped, she started crying.

Finally, after a long day………..the battery went off again..

Hong Kong Makan Makan Update
Hong Kong Dessert
Hui Lau Shan – Dessert Chain (All over HK)
Famous for its mango desserts. Papa Wong prefers their mango drinks instead. Mommy still prefer warm dessert.
Both desserts were nice but cant take too much. Very “lau” after a while. Probably all the coconut milk. This dessert chain also serve snacks like curry fishballs, yam cake, etc. Instead of trying these in these chain, both Papa and Mommy ate from stalls fr street. Ahh……taste much better with all the germs, dusts, etc..:P
We also tried dessert from another dessert shop in Mongkok but forgot to take pictures. Mommy had the Chestnut paste and Papa took the Gingko Barley. The chestnut paste is heavenly. Not too sweet and smooth. The English translated menu written as “Minced Chestnut”. Papa asked, “You sure you want to order something minced?” My answer, “Don’t worry. After a few days in HK, I roughly can understand HK’s translated english.”

Before the trip, I heard so much about this so called “scrambled egg” King. Die die must go there.
Besides the standard breakfast set, the steamed milk and egg are really nice. Soooo smooth. If they have a branch here, I’ll eat there EVERYDAY.
We also ate at one of those HK’s cha chan teng chains called Cafe De Coral (http://www.cafedecoralfastfood.com) . Is everywhere and the food is ok. Clean and fast service.

That sum up our little makan makan session in HK.
On our last day, we went to a local cha chan teng that serve good eggtart and polo pau. Didnt take any photo because the cafe is so packed and we were too shy to take any photos.
Singapore Flyer, 5th Oct 2008

Singapore Flyer
We went for our ride last Sunday, before my complimentary tickets expire.
Daddy bought both the shirts from Las Vegas.
Overall, we all enjoyed the ride. Popo likes it so much that she even bought blouse from the gift shop.
Bali 4-6th Jan
I went to Bali on a company trip without Papa and Kyrie. 2nd time I left home without my baby, but the 1st was my biz trip to KL and during that time she was much younger and cant tell the different. Now is different…..coz all her activities must involved MOMMY. Mommy must sit next to her during dinner and put her to sleep every night. She wont allow my maid nor Popo to pat-pat her!!
Anyway, I worried for nothing. She didnt look for me except for the 1st day. Subsequently, whenever Kakak/Popo asked her, “Where’s mommy?” Her classic answer, “OPIS”
She seems to understand and know that I’m away. During the weekend, she much “guai” and allow my maid to pat her to sleep at night without any fuss!!
Little highlights on my short trip:

Harris Kuta Resorts.
Chilling over coconut juice in Ubud. All my chee muis from my “opis”
“Dirty Duck” . Best duck meal I ever had besides the normal roast duck. Half a duck with veggie cost Rp63,000. (SGD10) We also ordered 3 additional apetisers: Calamari, chix wings and fried spinach Balinese style. Love the spinach as well. Total cost per person was Rp100,000 inclusive of 1 fruit juice and taxes.

Colleague’s sambal prawn. He doesnt take duck!!

Our Rp100,000 Seafood dinner @ Jimabaran courtesy from our “generous” boss..:P No lobster!! Ceh!!
