5 Years Long Service Award

Yes, you read the heading correctly, but it not me who got the reward. Papa received his 5 years service award from him company but as usual the actual present goes to Mommy. The same goes for the 3 years award 2 years ago. 2 years ago, I “rewarded” myself with a Celestial diamond ring.

This year I bought a LV bag with his “reward fund”. Thank you, XXX Company for all these gifts..:P :P

Neverfull GM

Neverfull GM

Yupe, the bag can never get full…according to the sales person. Yeah rite!!!

P/S: The bag is still in the LV shop. I dare not bring the shopping bag back to the office. Afraid my boss sees it!! Chicken rite?

What kind of mother are you?

This morning while I was having my breakfast at the food court, I cant help to observe a couple with a young son. The kid is probably 4 or 5 years old. I had breakfast at Golden Shoes, where 99.9% are office workers. Seldom you get to see any kid around the place except like maybe one of the parent who send the kid to the nearby childcare bring the kid for breakfast.

Both the parents were eating their noodle while the sleepy kid sat quietly next to his mother. Then I heard the daddy asked if he wants barley. Daddy stood up and went to the drink stall and came back with a can of Chrysanthemum instead. All these while, the mommy continued to eat her noodle without much interaction with the child. There were hardly any facial expression and it seem like she’s in a bad mood.

They ordered toast bread for the child. The bread came and the mommy put it in front of the kid. The kid took a piece but quickly put in down. “Hot” he claimed. The mommy put the bread into his hand again. The poor child put it down again. All these while, the daddy didn’t mumbled a single word. He was hungry, I assumed.

The mommy was not happy. She teared the bread and put it inside the child’s mouth.

At this point of time, I finished my own breakfast and started reflecting on the situation on myself. What kind of mother am I? Did I treat my kids the way this lady treated hers? I do admit that sometimes I have been very impatient with Kyrie. Did I fulfill my own hunger first before my child? Maybe I did. Maybe some other people at the foodcourt think I’m a heartless mother.

Morale of the story? Is Wed and today I’m on half day…….hahaha…..and I’m taking off the rest of the week as well. My mother is going back to KL to attend my cousin’s wedding and therefore I need to take care of my own kids. I’ll take full advantage of this period to spend as much time with them as possible.

2nd Day of Unemployed

My usual routine is to turn on my pc and start surfing net when I’m not working. I will definately logon to Yahoo Mesenger and MSN but remain “invisible”. Hehehe……doesnt want any of my ex-colleagues especially my ex-boss to see me online. You know, how much I “love” him rite. Talk about him remind me that he just called me yesterday. Still asking me about my letfover work. I served my full 1 month notice and during my notice, he doesnt bother to ask nor check on my work. Even on my last day, he act blur and give me the dont care attitude. If I wanted to act cruel, I could have deleted all my files and data and left nothing for them…but I’m not that evil lah…I didnt do it. I only deleted all my personal files and photos from the hard disc. Whatever important data are still inside my pc, only thing is they need my password..but heck, they can always called the IT Dept to crack my password. Sum sum shui work ler

Anyway, while I was busy chatting away on the pc with friends, an sms came in. I was charging my hp then, and was too lazy to check out the sms. Upon checking, it came from Trading manager from a competitor co asking me to go for an interview. Yippy…I got an interview.

The interview lasted more than 1 hour. I got no idea if I got to the job or not but one thing for sure, this guy is much more smarter than my “ku hoon chong” ex-boss. Wish me luck please cause I really like this co and is a small set-up meaning alot more potential for me to learn.

1st Day Activities

Morning, I created this blog and tried to look for some nice templete. Somehow, I cant do my own screen with Calf in it. Guess this will take me a long time to create one. After about an hour or so, I’m really tired..Hehe…more tired than working life. Before Calf Kyrie takes her morning nap, Cowie mommy already collapsed on the bed SNORING….Hehe…Life of a Tai_tai *Sai Man* :P

Later in the afternoon after Calf Kyrie woke up, Cowie decided to bring Old Mama and Calf to Chinatown by PUBLIC TRANSPORT!! Yes, you hear me right. Hehe, very adventurous hor!! First bus ride for little Calf..and as usual she took the bus ride like she’s at home. Scream when thing she wanted is not give. Thanks God is off peak hour; therefore, there’s not many people on board of the bus.

The Popo wanted to buy a “butterfly” toy for her grand-daughter and there we go in search of that particular toy. Popo doesn’t know the shop name neither the location. Thanks to Cowie’s shopping instinct, we managed to get the toy within 30 mins. Haha….One task done!!

Next we went to had some tong shui. Cowie wanted to eat walnut cream….yummy…..but within 2 days the paste’s price has gone from $2.50 to $2.80. Talk about inflations, MAN!!

Next, we headed to OG. Cowie bought a Adidas waist pouch. Damaged around $26. When we are not working, everything in the shopping centre look so appealing and yelling, “Come buy me, bring me home”

Lastly, Popo found some “Hokkaido pau yue” which she wanted to buy. She saw Cowie’s MIL bought some during her last trip….*Envy ma*

Took a bus home around 4 pm. Cowie mommy’s hand feel like about to break!! Imaging carrying Calf around Chinatown all by myself because Popo claimed “Aiya, she very heavy….tired to carry” :( (

That’s my 1st Day as a tai_tai. No high tea, no shopping for Gucci bag…but walnut cream as lunch/tea break/dessert and 1 adidas pouch that look like Gucci..Haha…..

1st Unemployed Day

I’ve been looking forward to this day for a very long. The day I can declared myself as HOUSEWIFE but somehow now that the day is here, the feeling is different. I got nothing to look forward to unliked those days in the office when I look forward to lunch time and 6 pm, more precisely called “tang foong koong”

This morning I dreamt that I got a job offer with another competitor, Wilmar. The biggest player in market. Haha…I’m so happy but unfortunately is just a dream. Remind me of the song the WSL sang during our Form 5 concert. DREAMZzzzzz, dream, dream and I beleive…Lah…… Something like dat lah. Hahaha…..Yes, WSL did acted in the final year concert. All of them did EXCEPT me….

Looking forward to do my daily entry but this means one thing!! I’m still unemployed….leung teh kun!!
