Shhhh….I’m on the phone.

Yeah, but that not me on the phone. It was Kyrie. Sat on our way to the Crocs sales, she was playing with my handphone. I overheard her conversation with herself. Yeah, she pretend to talk to her friend, but actually she’s talking to herself.

Kyrie: Hello, Babeera?

K: Hmmm….yeah. Yeah

K: Don’t cry, ok? Go school cannot cry. Stop saying mommy mommy ok? Mommy will come fetch you later. Stop crying!!

*LOL*

Scene 2

Earlier, I sneaked out with Papa to go massage. I told Kyrie a lie. I told her I needed to go back to office for a while. She insisted she wanted to tag along. I told her no, my boss is around.

This conversation took part at night after the dinner. I was surfing facebook  while she was playing with the doodle and papa’s handphone next to me.

Me: Kyrie, who are you calling?

Kyrie ignored me.

Me: Kyrie, you calling your teacher? Tell her how naughty you are.

Kyrie: No, I’m calling your office now!!

Me: Huh?

Kyrie: Hello, boss!!!!

LOL!! LOL!!

Crocs Warehouse Sales – 23rd May 2009

Yeah, I was asked by my friends to go buy Crocs for them. I knew I’m not “supposed” to go. I’m a sucker for sales. We went after my Physio and we actually queued for 40 mins before we managed to get into the sales section. The Q was like a double “S”s. Q formed from the actually hall all the way into the next hall where the Zip Zap Q was!! Really mad!! What recession!!

Everybody got ONE pair of shoes except yours truly. I cant decided which one I like and when I asked Papa, he said, “Buy all.” Ok, your wish is my command. LOL

The above fit Kyrie nicely now. I wanted to buy a size bigger but this was the last 2 pairs. The lady said take it or leave it. Yo man, that’s!!! Take it. If Kyrie cant fit in a couple of months time, there always Hallie to take over. Hehehe, shopaholic mentality!!

Marina Barrage – 10th May 2009

Yeah, we went there yesterday after dinner. Really running out of place to bring the girls out. Kyrie as usual wanted to go “Seiyu” so she can go on those kiddy rides again. We been there so many times that by now I can sing all those lame songs on those rides. I told her, NO. We need to get some fresh air and not stay indoor in another shopping mall.

They have a water playground there, but the place is really dark at night because there’s no lighting or what so ever. Just the lighting from the water faucets.

I decided to let Kyrie played at the water playground whereas Mommy carried Hallie and walked through the water fountain. Cool rite? But at one corner, you can see Popo’s black face. “Aiya, so late still let the kids play water. Kam toh ah. Somemore didnt bring any extra clothes to change them.”

I didnt realised that Hallie was all wet from head because someone touched the water fountain towards the  end of the walk and water were sprayed all over her head. It was so dark and I didnt realised until we reached the end. My little baby liked it and keep giggling.

Ended up all wet and Papa need to carry her to the car. On the way home, she said she’s hungry and wanted to eat donut. Off we went to Suntec to tapau 6 glazed donut for her.

Every year we will go out to celebrate Mother’s Day except last year where I just finished my confinement. This year Papa brought us to Pasta Shop. This shop specialized in japanese style pasta/spaghetti. Every year, I’ll bring my maid along to celebrate Mother’s Day because she’s a mother too. This year, our new maid is a single but we decided to continue this practice.

Papa said this year’s bill will be paid from Kyrie’s pocket money. Hahhaa, she doesnt know much about the concept of money and happily say, “yeah yeah”.

The above appetizer was lotus chip. Nice and Kyrie loves it. We also ordered a potatoes salad that came with some pork bacon. Nothing to shout about!!

Popo had something like the above photo except hers is fresh oysters. My maid had a seafood chili pasta which she liked it very much.

What about Mei-Mei? I ordered a mushroom, tofu miso soup for her, but since she had her cereal before we left home, she wasnt that hungry and didnt eat much.

After our late lunch, we went to Borders Bookshop where Kyrie sat at a corner and “read” book. She claimed she can read and asked us not to disturb her!! *Eyes wide*

Birthday -Part 2

My colleagues had another round of celebration for me in the office on Friday. Coincidentally, my MD’s birthday was on the 6th, my immediate boss is on the 10th and yours truly is stuck in the middle, on the 7th!!!

Diana bought a mango cake for me and Calvin, but Mr Teng took MC on Friday and spoilt the surprise that we planned. So Diana brought the cake to his home, so he can blew the candles, then back to office for me to blow the 2nd round. Hahaha. Only Diana would take all these troubles!!

I forgot to bring my camera and therefore no photo of the cake!!

My MD bought me a birthday gift as well. *Shy* I never received gift from any superior before in my entire working life.

P/S: Another colleague of mine who is an American gave me a $50 angpow!!! Haaha, someone told him that giving angpow would bring good luck!!!

My Birthday

Yeah, that was my birthday cake. Mr Wong bought me a Mother’s Day Cake for birthday. As usual Kyrie is more excited than I do. Kids her age really into birthday, yea?

When I reached home, Kyrie came over and whispered to me that there’s a “SURPRISE” for me in the fridge. She even asked me to open fridge and peep. Hahahha, there goes all the surprise, yea

I was very happy when they sang the birthday song to me because this year, Kyrie finally can sing the whole birthday song to me ( but out of tune) and Mei Mei was happily clapping her hands non stop. The moment the song ended, Kyrie hurried lean forward and blew the candle before I can even make a wish. Hahahha…..

Anyway, mommy’s wish as always is “Kids happy, mommy happy”

Later at night, I told Kyrie I was sad that she blew my birthday candle.

Kyrie: Never mind, mommy. Next time you blow mine, ok!! Don’t be sad.

*LOL* Thanks, baby…
